Beginners’ course
Learning to swim is one of the most important things in life!
And we don't just mean that because as a swimming club we are always on the lookout for new blood for our swimming teams!
Our experienced instructors playfully show children ages 5 and up how to swim. The aim and requirement of our course is for children to move safely and without swimming aids in the water while under supervision.
The children are taught basic floating and sculling skills.
New courses usually start several times a year. The course language is German!
The respective course fees can be found in the corresponding course offers when booking.
If payment has not been received by one week before the start of the course, it will not be possible to take part in the course.

Course "starfish": 04:45 - 05:25 pm
Course "sea cucumber": 05:35 - 06:15 pm
As 20 children with parents and siblings would exceed our hall capacity, we would like to hold an “introductory session” on September 23rd in two groups (allocation according to bookings received). You will receive an email from us by September 21st at the latest to let you know when you should be at the indoor pool with your child on the 23rd.
The procedure on September 23rd will be as follows: We will first meet in the foyer of the indoor pool, introduce ourselves and explain the rules to be followed. Then you will help your children to get changed and we will go to the swimming pool together, where we would like to go into the training pool with your children. It would be great if you could then leave the indoor pool briefly or take a seat in the baby pool area.
After the introductory appointment, you will receive an e-mail with information about which course your child will be swimming in.
Please only book the course if you can arrange for the course to start at 04:45 pm as well as at 05:35 pm. Please allow sufficient time for your child to arrive and change clothes.
Our aim with this method is to form swimming groups in which children with similar previous knowledge can learn to swim together. This allows our swimming instructors to work better and more specifically with the children and the children themselves can be better supported.
From September 30th the following applies: The meeting point is always 5 minutes before the start of the course at the teaching pool in the indoor swimming pool in Langen. The children will be handed over to the instructors in their changed clothes.
Due to the extremely high demand in recent months, we have decided - with a heavy heart - to no longer keep a waiting list or an information mailing list until further notice. The effort involved is no longer proportionate. We ask for your understanding. In future, we will announce new course offers on the website in good time.
